Domenicali: Early for Alonso/Schumi comparison

Mar.26 (YF1) During the team principal’s Friday FIA press conference at Albert Park in Melbourne, Ferrari F1 boss Stefano Domenicali was asked if Fernando Alonso would be able to restore the “magic” of the Michael Schumacher era at Maranello?
Domenicali replied, “”I think it is too early to say that. What we lived with Michael and with Ross, it was a fantastic period but before saying something it is best to do the result and then maybe after that celebrate. So feet on the ground as it is too early.”
As for his and the team’s perception of the Spaniard since he joined Ferrari Domenicali added, “Fernando is a fantastic driver and he has all the potential to do a fantastic job but we need to go ahead step by step.
Alonso led home a Ferrari 1-2 in the season opener in Bahrain two weeks ago, scoring a win in his debut Grand Prix for his new team.
