Sep.9 (GMM) Pedro de la Rosa on Thursday said he is expecting to wait a few weeks until his plans for the 2011 season can move forward.

Sauber has confirmed that Kamui Kobayashi has retained his seat for next season, but the same it not yet true for the rookie Japanese’s 39-year-old teammate de la Rosa.

The Spanish veteran returned to the grid this season after a long period as a test driver, but insists he feels “no pressure” despite the fact his team is not yet willing to sign a new deal.

“I’m very happy with the season I’ve had,” he added.

I hear Villeneuve is looking to buy an existing team, now that his 13th team proposal has been rejected.

Could Sauber be that team, it would be either them Hispania or STR.

Carlos Slim is still in the wings with a brace of Mexican drivers, so all in all it’s not looking too good for De la Rosa.
