Teams schedule for final Barcelona F1 testing

Mar.5 (PVM) The final pre-2011 season collective Formula 1 testing takes place at Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona from 8 March to 12 March.
On Tuesday (8 March) opening day all teams barring Ferrari, Mercedes GP, Williams and HRTwill get their activities underway in Spain. The latter four will start their respective programme’s a day later and also terminate their four day testing stint a day later, Saturday 12 March.
HRT are the only team yet to unveil, let alone run, their new 2011 car. Sources within the team have indicated that the team’s new car is likely to break cover for the first time on “Wednesday or Thursday” in Barcelona.
Prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend being cancelled, due to civil unrest in the kingdom, the teams were scheduled to test at the Sakhir circuit this weekend. The cancellation has given the teams a few more weeks to prepare with the first Grand Prix weekend of the season scheduled to star on 25 March in Melbourne.
