No testing for HRT due to customs problem

Mar.12 (PVM) HRT who unveiled their 2011 car the F111 announced that due to lack of essential parts, the team will not run on the final day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Team principal Colin Kolles explained, “Unfortunately we could not get the dampers out of customs. The result of this is that we can´t run tomorrow. This is life and we will overcome this problem.”

HRT have done the least testing of all the teams and their new car has yet to turn a wheel with the new season a couple of weeks away. They were expected to run on the last two days in Barcelona but will now only get the opportunity to run in anger on the opening day of the 2011 season during the first free practice of the Australian GP in Melbourne on Friday, 25 March.

Last week, the team announced that Vitantonio Liuzzi will be team mate to Narain Karthikeyan.
