Apr.2 (Red Bull Racing) In the second weekend of the Red Bull spring break Showcar spectacular, Mark Webber was joined by Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari on the streets of Turin.

More than 40,000 spectators watched the Italian show which, as well as the Formula One runs, included a series of two-wheel tricks by world stunt riding champion Chris Pfeiffer.

The boys’ track for the day was a 2.2-km street circuit which began at Corso Vittorio Piazza Cairoli and ended at the entrance to Parco del Valentino – a tribute to the Gran Premio del Valentino which was last run here in 1955. Not since the Italian Job had Turin seen so many cars racing around its streets…

Afterwards Mark, who drove the Running Showcar in Naples last year, said: “This has been a beautiful day in Torino! The corners in this city reminded me of Monte-Carlo – moving from the asphalt paving was really fun. I hope to return to Italy again next year.”
