Photos: 2012 United States Grand Prix venue construction update
21 June, 2012
Jun.21 (Sutton Images) Latest images of construction work at Circuit of the Americas, venue of the United States GP scheduled to take place later this year on the weekend 16 to 18 November, Round 19 of the 20 round F1 world championship. Photos were taken on and around 14 June.

As a former construction worker (union carpenter), it seems all the major work is being finished. With the track being paved and all of the major structures completed, just the fine tuning left. This track will be finished and ready to go by race day. This should be a good race weekend. And all the Texans still trying to understand how you can change 4 tires in two seconds. F1 forever!!
So with five months to go they already have asphalt over there. That’s good, really good.
I think Korea were laying it three weeks before the event or something like that…
hoping the asphalt drys before the start of the race…:/
seems way behind schedule, I hope it’s not another koreanGP
Looks like there’s still a lot of work to do… But it is nice to see the GP is taking shape fast..
