British Grand Prix: Red Bull preview Silverstone
29 June, 2012
Jun.29 (Red Bull Press Release) Team and drivers preview the British Grand Prix, Round 9 of the 2012 Formula One World Championship, at Silverstone on the weekend of 6 to 8 July.
Mark Webber: “I’m really looking forward to the British Grand Prix and racing in front of a sell-out crowd that’s passionate about F1. Many of them will be there to cheer on the Brits, so there’s some irony in the fact that Silverstone is actually the local track for both the Aussie F1 drivers on the grid; Daniel Ricciardo and I are based in Buckinghamshire! It’s a great time of the year for British sport, with Wimbledon on at present and the Olympic Games just around the corner. I’m sure the British Grand Prix won’t disappoint; we’re going to Silverstone with one goal in mind and that’s to win!”
Sebastian Vettel: “Even after the track was amended for the 2011 race, it didn’t lose its magic. For me as a driver it is one of the best and [most] interesting tracks of all. The atmosphere is great, British fans enthusiastically support their countrymen, but at the same time they’re very objective and fair in judging the performance of the non-British drivers. On top of that they are experts about F1. The track is demanding for a driver and provides everything a driver likes, including the unpredictable weather which is possible in July in Silverstone.”

What is really nice is the crowd & atmosphere at this classic circuit..hope Mr Ecclestone take this at heart to have a Grand Prix with capacity crowd, great racing & great coverage…not like some circuits that hardly have 30 000 people watching…empty stands do not sell advertisement does it?
Red Bull might be the team to beat on Sunday..(again…yawn)..but unlikely?
Come on Sebastian it’s time for Dominance Get the Win and Decrease the Gap between You and Alonso as much as Possible this weekend
