Anthony Hamilton (GBR), Simon Fuller (GBR) 19 Management and Linda Hamilton (GBR) in parc ferme. Formula One World Championship, Rd11, Hungarian Grand Prix, Race Day, Budapest, Hungary, Sunday 29 July 2012.Jul.30 (GMM) If Lewis Hamilton’s father was still in charge, his son would be signing on the dotted line to extend with McLaren.

Anthony Hamilton, who was invited by his son to attend the Hungarian Grand Prix with his wife, is no longer involved in the management of the 2008 world champion.

And Hamilton snr also recently split with his other charge, Paul di Resta.

But after seeing 27-year-old Hamilton dominate at the Hungaroring with a win from pole, Anthony Hamilton sounded adamant that his son should stay at McLaren.

Hamilton’s lucrative contract is running out, and comments in the media made recently by Lewis and team supremo Ron Dennis indicate that negotiations over a new one are ‘delicate’.

“McLaren is where Lewis’s heart is,” Anthony said on British television Sky after the race.

“What’s really important in life is loyalty. It’s not all about the money.”

Is Hamilton Snr personally known to you? Does he make any decisions that affect you like a politician does? If the answer is no to both questions then you must be having a lot of time on you to loathe someone just because of the way he looks.
and who is lashing out at the media or other drivers?
and fyi none of those guys dads are their managers, so its better it stays that way.

I feel lewis should take his dad back as his manager. While i dislike anthony hamilton intensely (the smugness is just painful to see) he always had lewis’ best interest at heart and lewis was at his most successful with his dad at the helm. Recently lewis has made headlines for all the wrong reasons and I really feel a reunion with his father would help illeviate a lot of it.

Jenson’s dad is there every single race. Alonso has a lot of support, Massa always has either his father or his wife. these guys dont always enjoy the best races but you rarely see them lashing out at the media or other drivers either. He could just use a bit more fatherly support i feel.

Would be the best bet, father Ant is right…at Ferrari the shoe will be on Lewis’ feet..the opposite that was the case when Fernando was with him at Mclaren..
