Formula One World Championship, Rd2, Malaysian Grand Prix, Qualifying, Sepang, Malaysia, Saturday 24 March 2012.Jul.31 (GMM) Under-performing Mercedes has started a process of restructuring its Formula One technical team, according to reports in Autosprint.

The report said that the Brackley based team’s aerodynamics chief John Owen is moving up to be technical director.

Owen’s role is being filled by a new signing, Mike Elliot, who has joined from Lotus.

Autosprint wonders, however, “What will happen with the trio [Aldo] Costa, [Geoff] Willis and [Bob] Bell?”

Maybe Mercedes should not drop out of F1 and they should not replace the driver in the number 7 car…. If you want to criticize Michael a lot, how do you feel if it was you in his situation? You will also feel unhappy, right… Maybe you should think before you comment negative words about Mercedes and Michael… That’s the whole problem with you people… ONLY KNOW HOW TO CRITICIZE MICHAEL FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN’T HIS FAULT.

Maybe Mercedes should replace the driver of the number 7 car. After all Mercedes redesigned their cars around him the last two years and he still gets his rear end handed to him by his team mate.

There are many promising young drivers who can’t get a shot because of one rich old selfish man named Michael Schumacher.

Better yet Mercedes should just drop out of Formula One.

I do not know why Costa was recruited in the 1st place because Ferrari was really going downwards when he was there? With the money Mercedes can “Buy” Adrian Newey..none of the (WO1-WO3)Mercs really did the job so far.
Brawn was much better with a smaller compact team working together.
