Lotus boss backs Grosjean to shine in 2013
22 November, 2012
Nov.22 (GMM) Lotus’ team principal Eric Boullier has once again played down speculation that Romain Grosjean’s place at Lotus is in jeopardy for 2013.
At the end of a tumultuous season for Frenchman Grosjean, the 26-year-old admitted this week that he is yet to sign a new deal for next season.
But Boullier told French-language f1i.com: “We believe in him. For us he is a long-term project and we consider him to be similar to [what McLaren did with] Lewis Hamilton.
“He has shown he is able to do superb racing, but then of course there were some errors that sometimes cost him very dearly.
“More recently he has been a bit more cautious and has been building up again, but I am sure that in 2013 we will see the real Romain,” he added.

Jason
he beats kimi when kimi did mistake in q3. prior to that kimi went inot q2 with hard tyre while romain on soft, faster than romain in q2, but mistake often cost kimi dear in q3.
Stoner, you need to lay off the weed.
He will never come close to Kimi in speed?
The dude’s only in his first full season and he is BEATING Kimi in the qualifying battle.
In the races Grosjean does finish he is nearly always right behind Kimi. Right where a solid number 2 driver should be.
You don’t have a clue about formula 1 if you don’t rate this man.
What a waste, this guy cannot even come close to kimi in terms of speed, points or consistency. A French team principal backing his French driver. He will be booted soon
The question is, in what team will Romain do his shining?
